On July 18, 2019, the Ambassador of Austria to the United States, Wolfgang Waldner, officiated the opening of an exhibit and a book presentation at the Austrian Embassy in Washington, DC. Entitled Towards the American Century: Austrians in the United States, the book and corresponding exhibit investigate the history and impact of Austrian immigrants to the United States
