“Democracy in Austria - Volume 28 of Contemporary Austrian Studies - was presented at the House of History in Vienna’s Hofburg Palace on October 23, 2019. Volume editors Professor Günter Bischof (Director, Center Austria) and Dr. David Wineroither (Senior Research Fellow, Center for Social Sciences, Hungarian Academy of Sciences) introduced the series and Volume 28 in particular, and were joined by two authors, Dr. Karin Liebhart (University of Vienna) and Dr. Hannes Richter (Embassy of Austria, Washington, DC).
Dr. Liebhart reported on her contribution investigating the use of Instagram in the Austrian Presidential election, while Dr. Richter talked about his essay on millennial support for democracy in Austria. The presentations were followed by a discussion with the audience.
