Center Austria is pleased to congratulate the following students on their recent successes!
Congratulations to Emma Obermair, management and economics student from the University of Innsbruck, who was accepted for a Master's Degree program in Philosophy and Public Policy at the London School of Economics.
Congratulations to Martin Schefzik, who completed his master's thesis: "Greek Life: Greek letter student societies in the United States higher education system on the local and national scale."
Mr Schefzik did extensive research at the University of New Orleans with a travel grant from the International Office at the University of Innsbruck.
Congratulations to Andreas Hofbauer, Center Austria's Nick Mueller Fellow 2019/20, who finished and successfully defended his Master's Thesis in May 2020:
"A Matter of Personal Pride: How African American Football All-Stars Exposed Bigotry in New Orleans"
Congratulations to Irina Pavlovic, who graduated from the University of Innsbruck in June and is starting her Ph.D.- program at the Department of Linguistics and Literary Studies at the University of Bremen in Germany.
She was the Nick Mueller fellow at Center Austria in the 2018/19 academic year.
