Dr. Charles Hadley, Research Professor Emeritus of political science and a Senior Fellow at the Center, organized a lunch at Antoine’s, the oldest family owned restaurant in New Orleans, for our Innsbruck students. Our waiter Mr. Terry took good care of us with a nice lunch of gumbo, trout amandine, and Alaskan baked pie, followed by a tour of the restaurant and wine cellar.

Volume 30 of Contemporary Austrian Studies (CAS), “Visual Histories of Austria,” was presented at the Austrian National Library in Vienna on June 13, 2022. Present were two editors, Guenter Bischof (Center Austria) and Hans Petschar (Austrian National Library), as well as two contributors to the volume, Karien Liebhart (University of Vienna) and Hannes Richter (Embassy of Austria in the United States).
