Julia Margaretha Hormes was born in 1980 in Bonn, Germany and moved to the United States in 1999 to matriculate at Princeton University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Romance Languages. She received a Master of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology and Ph.D. in Experimental and Clinical Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in clinical psychology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi and is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center’s Comprehensive Alcohol Research Center and School of Public Health in New Orleans.
Rosa Maria Mulser, was born in 1981 in Voels am Schlern, Italy. She attended the Pedagogical Institute in Brixen, Italy, which awarded the equivalent of a teaching degree upon graduation after which she matriculated at Innsbruck University. After two years of studying Psychology in Innsbruck, she transferred to the University of New Orleans where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2005. In 2006, she entered the doctoral program in school psychology at Tulane University. She received a Master of Science degree in School Psychology in 2008 and hopes to graduate in May 2012 with a Ph.D. in School Psychology.
