Center Austria Director Professor Guenter Bischof presented the book The Marshall Plan - Since 1947. Saving Europe, Rebuilding Austria, co-authored with Dr. Hans Petschar of the Austrian National Library, at the Austrian Embassy in Washington, DC on May 9, 2018.
Professor Bischof was accompanied by Professor Audrey Kurth Cronin of American University, who served as a discussant. The Ambassador of Austria, Dr. Wolfgang Waldner, delivered opening remarks.
This event was part of the Austrian Lecture Series, jointly hosted by the Embassy of Austria and The Center for Transatlantic Relations an Johns Hopkins University/ SAIS.
