Günter Bischof has taught International History at UNO since 1989. He studied English and History at the Universities of Innsbruck, Vienna, and New Orleans and holds a PhD in American History from Harvard University. He has authored 3 books and (co)-edited more than 50 books, among them Contemporary Austrian Studies (25 volumes). He also edits the book series “Studies in Austrian History, Literature, and Culture” (with UNO Press) and TRANSATLANTICA (with StudienVerlag in Innsbruck). His latest book is with Christina Antenhofer, Robert L. Dupont, Ulrich Leitner, eds., Cities as Multiple Landscapes: Investigating the Sister Cities Innsbruck and New Orleans (Frankfurt/M: Campus, 2016).
