The  Austrian Studies Association is monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely.  At this point, we are proceeding with plans for our 2022 conference to be held, as scheduled, in New Orleans. In the event that the conference is cancelled, we will notify members as soon as possible. Please check this website regularly for the latest information.

2022 Conference Dates and Deadlines

• 29-Sept-21 Submissions Open

• 18-Oct-21 Registration Begins

• 14-Dec-21 Deadline for Paper Proposals

• 31-Dec-21 Acceptance Notices Will be Sent

• 01-Feb-22 Preliminary Schedule Available

• 04-Mar-22 Registration for Presenters Ends; Those Not Registered by This Date Will be Dropped From the Program

• 01-Apr-22 Online Non-presenter Registration Ends

• 12–15-Apr-22 ASA CONFERENCE IN NEW ORLEANS, LA

All presenters must be current, paid members of the ASA and registered for the conference. Non-presenters who attend the full conference must also pay membership fees.

The last day for partial refunds is March 14, 2022. No refund requests will be honored after this date. Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
