Nick Mueller Fellowship Awarded

Tyrolean State Representative for Education, Beate Palfrader and the Vice-Mayor of the City of Innsbruck, Christine Oppitz-Plörer, awarded the 2009-2010 Nick Mueller fellowship to Mr. Manfred Kohler. The fellowship helps young Austrian academics to gain experience abroad and brings them to The University of New Orleans.

Manfred Kohler completed Masters degrees in translation sciences and in political science and is currently working on his dissertation in political science.

Professor Gordon "Nick" Mueller is the founder on the New Orleans - Innsbruck International Summer School and founding director of Center Austria. The fellwoship in his name recognizes his contribution to international education and the partnership between the cities of Innsbruck and New Orleans.
